For almost 40 years, Prorata P&S has distinguished itself through product testing in the pet food sector.

Tasks include:

Recipe and quality checks, competitor comparisons and storage tests.

For this purpose, Prorata P&S uses its continuously updated dog and cat panel – currently 2,000 dog and cat households regionally. Our panel are recruited exclusively from normal pet households (no pet centers).

We have contacts with local animal shelters and can conduct specialized tests there at any time.

To ensure the comparability and validity of the results and to optimize logistics and costs, standardized testing methods are predominantly used.

The use of different testing methods, both preference tests and monadic acceptance tests, and implementation by methodically skilled employees and pet owners in the field enables the rapid and precise determination of the required information.

The product range includes wet and dry food for dogs and cats, snacks, cat milk, and cat litter.

Accessories, packaging, or claim tests require customized questionnaires and methodological approaches; we recommend our ad hoc tests.

Other specialized animal panel can also be recruited, like horses, birds, fish, rodents, etc.

We could develop a customized test program with you. We could provide results for foreign suppliers in English.
